I would never use the term “escapism” in my own life but when I read this quote it made me think of many things my own life I have escaped from. What this quote is saying is that the best thing about living is that it allows us to escape from the mundane. We are all forced to live through real life but what makes it possible for us to do this is the fact that we are able to escape into our dreams when we are not awake.
